Not another fuel station

By John Hostage - Nashua | Jul 24, 2021

The request by Costco before Nashua’s Planning Board for a fossil fuel station should be rejected.

The fuel station is not needed in Nashua, and more fossil fuel stations are not needed in the USA. Nationally, these additional fuel stations seem to be a policy of the otherwise admirable Costco company.

I have no doubt that the station is primarily designed to service vehicles from outside Nashua, as there are no signs at all that Nashua is under stationed. If the number of customers vehicles is as successful as Costco wants, it will add to congestion that already exists.

Our nation does not need additional investment in a technology and service that accelerates the existentially dangerous climate warning now in progress.

Obviously, this writer would not oppose an electric vehicle charging station.
