Gertie here, proud voting member of the esteemed CMAs (Country Music Assn.) since 2003. Among other things, I have been hosting and producing my own show called GCS, GertiesCountryShow on AFN, the American Forces Network HQ Europe.

I have a background in journalism, was a fully licensed stock market broker, office manager, graduated broadcasting school in Frankfurt/Germany and got my start in broadcasting while first producing commercials for radio and TV at AFN. I co-hosted every show at AFN. I hosted & broadcasted from Nashville´s FanFair-FanFest as well as the CMAs and reported live from Nashville´s Superspeedway while meeting and interviewing many country artists.

I would love to propose for the old DW College ground to become the new home of GCS, so it could be streamed back to AFN HQ via “The Pentagon Channel” & “Voice of America.”

It could be broadcasted/made available via zoom, subscriptions, live events and or live/prerecorded broadcasts via radio and TV (worldwide).

There are about 6,800 CMA voting members worldwide. We pride ourselves in supporting anything related to the country music industry.

My favorite thing about being a CMA member is being able to voice my support not only to the many talented young artists, but also our women and men in uniform.

I am working with studios in Germany as well as recording studios in other European Countries and therefore, I would also love to bring the ESC to America as well as my own new competition ACSC (American Country Song Contest).

As you can tell, there are many ways to sell and distribute the show/s to benefit the city of Nashua and everyone involved in the process.
