I am not an angry person.

I believe in truth and honesty.

I believe in this country, in our democracy.

I believe in individual rights and even more in the common good.

I grew up with two parents, one Republican and one Democrat.

I believe in the two-party system but two parties that work together.

I simply do not understand those who are advocating policies based on LIES.

It is a LIE that Trump won the election and it is a LIE that there was voter fraud in 2020.

House Bills 292, 362, 531, 535, 554 and Senate Bill 89 are based on these LIES.

These bills are intended to make voting harder for various groups of people.

Please, I don’t want to be angry.

Can’t every American have the right to vote?

Can’t we be honest and truthful, good Americans, faithful to our democracy?

Can’t we support individual rights but work together to make life better for all?

Can’t our two parties listen to each other and work together?

I hope and pray we can find a way.
