Thank you

By Shannon Chandley - | Nov 21, 2020

With the final votes tallied in the recount for State Senate District 11, it is now clear that our campaign for re-election came up just a little short.

I want sincerely to thank everyone who joined us in this effort – especially the volunteers who have been the guiding force of this campaign since day one. I want to express, again, my appreciation to the clerks, moderators, assistants, supervisors, and volunteers who worked long, hard hours in the midst of this pandemic to support and maintain our democracy. In addition, I offer my deepest gratitude to the Secretary of State, his entire staff, and all the volunteers who made last week’s recount possible.

Moreover, I congratulate Gary Daniels on his victory. I trust that he and the newly elected Senate will prioritize Granite State families and work to provide relief as we recover from this pandemic. This year has been so hard on everyone – from our students to our small businesses – and our neighbors need support more than ever.

Most importantly, I thank the people of Merrimack, Amherst, Milford, and Wilton for giving me the opportunity to serve as your State Senator. I have lived in SD11 for nearly twenty years. Through my legislative work, I have had the privilege of getting to know so many folks in the community. It was my honor and my pleasure to serve you.

With gratitude and best regards,

Shannon Chandley
