A genuine American hero is on the verge of political defeat. He is being overwhelmed by a diabolical array of opposing forces that include wealthy liberals, media moguls, the political elite, and the 4th estate; forces that would not, could not, tolerate his intrusion into their arena, his challenge to their dominance of the political landscape, his resistance to their quest to consolidate power and wealth at the expense of the American people, to exert influence over their daily lives and to deny them unfettered access to all points of view. This powerful alliance has conspired endlessly to defeat our hero from his first day on the scene. He has many loyal supporters among the electorate, but the remainder have been effectively isolated by his political enemies, especially the 4th estate. These people were not allowed to hear the truth about his accomplishments in advance of this election, but heard only lies, half-truths and gross exaggerations shamelessly asserted over and over by his opponents and their surrogates. There is precious little anyone can do to help him now, save attempting desperate legal gambits to challenge the election results.

In truth, he is a dynamic, charismatic leader who answered the clarion call to serve his country at great personal sacrifice, and was willing to call out any politician for his hypocrisy. He fought hard and long, tirelessly, to advance a myriad of causes consistent with the goals of liberty and justice, and economic opportunity for all Americans, and to reassert our nation’s standing on the world stage.

His heir apparent to the office of President and Commander in Chief is a follower, not a leader, a life-long politician who has never governed, but only profited by peddling his 47 years of pandering and political influence to foreign countries. One can only speculate as to whose counsel he will seek, whose advice he will follow during his term, what appointments he will make, and what damage it will do to the nation’s fabric. God save us all, and preserve the principles upon which this country was founded, during his term. Pray also there is another American hero in waiting, somewhere, who will emerge in time to save our great nation from the scavengers, both foreign and domestic, who would feed on the soul of our country for their personal benefit without remorse. This includes, most of all, the 4th estate, upon which the very existence of a free nation ultimately depends.

We withdraw from this great political battle, battered and bruised, but infused with a refreshed awareness of the fragility of our lives and our nation. We will return to the fray another day, stronger and more committed than ever to the cause of freedom and democracy, to fight to preserve the American way of life and to protect and explore the untapped potential that our Constitution affords us all.
