A strong commitment

By Sen. Cindy Rosenwald - Nashua | Oct 31, 2020

For the past two years, I have served as the Senator from District 13, which covers wards 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in Nashua. Representing you in Concord is an honor, and it is not a responsibility I take lightly.

I’m driven by the desire to make our economy work better for working families, which are the bedrock of our state’s prosperity. This includes increasing access to quality, affordable health care, keeping property taxes in check, raising the minimum wage, and enacting paid family and medical leave insurance because we should never ask someone to choose between their family and their job.

In the Senate, I was able to work across the aisle to pass bills to lower the cost of prescription drugs, ease burdens on local property taxpayers, provide COVID-19 support, and secure more funding for Nashua’s opioid treatment program. However, I know the work is not complete.

We are living through a pandemic that will affect our economic well-being for years to come, and we need leaders in the Senate with the established relationships to get the job done. When the pandemic first hit, I relied on those relationships within the state government to help my constituents get their unemployment checks.

This is an uncertain time for our state and our country, but as your senator, you have my commitment that I will be proactive and accessible to all. I humbly ask for your vote on Nov. 3, so I can continue to help navigate our state through this challenging period.
