I am proud to be supporting Cindy Rosenwald in her re-election to the State Senate. As a young woman, I have seen Senator Rosenwald fight for the issues I care about most.

One issue that means a lot to me is reproductive rights, and Senator Rosenwald has been a champion in that area. I was so glad to see my senator sponsoring the Reproductive Health Parity Act to secure insurance coverage for abortion services and help prevent the Trump administration from jeopardizing reproductive access.

Sen. Rosenwald knows that many people are going through difficult economic situations right now, which is why we should be reducing barriers to reproductive care, not making it more difficult.

Another subject I care about is ending the sexual assault and sexual harrassment culture on college campuses. Being a college student, these issues are very real to me. That’s why I was pleased to see Senator Rosenwald as a sponsor of SB 679, which requires institutions of higher education to adopt policies on sexual misconduct.

I am grateful to be represented by someone who understands issues facing women, particularly young women. If you live in Nashua Wards 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 or 9, I hope you will join me in voting for Sen. Cindy Rosenwald.
