Kenosha, Portland and Seattle come to Greater Nashua

By Chuck Hafemann - Nashua | Oct 24, 2020

On Oct. 22, The Telegraph reported that Milford police, Brookline police, the Attorney General’s office and the Post Office are investigating threatening letters recently sent to supporters of President Trump in these towns. The gist of the letters appears to be: “Vote for Biden or we’ll kill you when we burn your house down; you’ve been warned!” This is simply an extension of the looting, rioting, arson and violence (including murder) which has overtaken a significant number of communities across the US, including Kenosha, Portland and Seattle, during 2020. And now it’s here in Nashua. If the best argument these savages have for voting for Biden is that they’ll kill you if you don’t, there’s no reason at all to even consider voting for Biden. They would also do well to remember everyone’s second amendment right to bear arms in defense of home and family when they come with their torches. It should never have come to this, but this is where we are. No one wants violence but this intimidation is unacceptable. Shakespeare’s words in Henry V, spoken by King Henry to his french adversary’s messenger Montjoy may be prophetic:

“Go bid thy master well advise himself:

If we may pass, we will; if we be hinder’d,

We shall your tawny ground with your red blood

Discolour: and so Montjoy, fare you well.

The sum of all our answer is but this:

We would not seek a battle, as we are;

Nor, as we are, we say we will not shun it:

So tell your master.”
