Vote for Chandley

By Becky Stoughton - Amherst | Oct 17, 2020

I have known State Senator Shannon Chandley ever since I moved into her neighborhood eight years ago, at which time she was a State Representative. Multiple times over the years, I have heard Shannon update her constituents on the status of important state-wide initiatives and issues and her activities on our behalf. I have always found her to be well-informed across the full range of relevant topics, willing to field tough questions about them, and proactive about seeking out and listening carefully to the views and concerns of her constituents. If she doesn’t know an answer, she will find out and get back to you. If you need help with something, she will do her best to provide it. She is tireless.

Her achievements as a legislator include spearheading efforts to ensure safe drinking water and remove tolls, and her priorities for future legislation align very well with my own vision of taking care of people and small businesses while not demonizing “Corporate America”. Most importantly to me, her approach to legislating consistently demonstrates the values of civility, bipartisanship, and public service. She effectively advocates for positive change for all NH citizens in a way that is not positional and understands the need to compromise to move forward. Truly, I wish all politicians and public servants were more like Shannon. Our country would be in a much better place right now. I will be voting for Shannon on Nov. 3, and encourage you to do the same.
