I am writing to express my strong support of Senator Melanie Levesque’s reelection to the State Senate.

I have been a public-school teacher in Nashua for 34 years. In that time, I can recall few elected officials who have supported public education more than Melanie. She is truly a champion for what is best for our children and families.

I’ve seen Melanie’s leadership in action over the past two years, as she increased school funding by nearly $140 million, the largest investment in education in the history of New Hampshire, froze in-state tuition at our state colleges and universities, helping retain graduating high school seniors and advancing our workforce. Too many of our best and brightest have been leaving, especially since it often times can be less expensive to attend post-secondary education beyond our borders as compared with stating in state.

Providing all our kids with a high-quality education is vital to not only their future success, but also to the country and economy as a whole. Let’s reelect Melanie to keep a real advocate for education in the New Hampshire Senate.
