To my Ward 9 neighbors, I want to thank everyone who supported me as a Republican Ward 9 candidate for NH State Representative. Unfortunately, I did not receive enough votes to advance to the November 3rd General Election. I would like to thank everyone who allowed me to place a sign on their property and for all the encouraging words along the way. I would especially like to call out and thank my neighbor Laura Colquhoun who participated in many “sign waves” with me; also Karen Thoman and Roxanne O’Brien from the NRCC (Nashua Republican City Committee) who distributed campaign literature door to door on my behalf.

Regarding the upcoming November 3rd General Election, I urge all Ward 9 residents to strongly evaluate and then endorse ALL 3 candidates on the Republican Ticket for NH State Reps. As many of you already know, currently here in Nashua all 27 of our State Reps (9 wards x 3 Reps. Each) are all from the Democratic Party. I will make the argument that representative government should be just that- representative of all the citizens and therefore must include both parties. I have always been a registered Republican; I think the GOP asks the right questions and has the right priorities. The most important question for budgeting is to analyze income projections, and then you make the tough choices as to how to spend within those constraints. I would assert that that is the way you manage your own family finances. Government needs to focus on its priorities and what it does best: protecting the liberties of its citizens, infrastructure of safe roads and bridges, the necessary societal services of police, fire, schools, etc and of course the safety net that holds society together by protecting the most vulnerable of our citizens. With all that said, please evaluate and endorse Bill Ohm, Bill O’Brien and Tyler Gouveia, our 3 Republican candidates for Ward 9. Bill Ohm is very well established in this ward and has served us honorably for several terms now; he has been a wonderful mentor to me throughout this campaign process; he is truly both a gentleman and a scholar. Bill O’Brien is new to our ward but has been in the State House for years and served as Speaker of the House for many years with a proven record of fiscal responsibility and leadership. Tyler Gouveia is the new millennial face of the Republican party who brings new ideas and energy to the GOP and will benefit from the mentorship that Bill and Bill will no doubt provide.

So please my Ward 9 neighbors please do your research and endorse these 3 fine gentlemen for our NH State Reps.
