Enough is enough

By Connie Owen - Hudson | Sep 12, 2020

How much more is needed to fully expose the risks presented by our current president.

Early in the week our attention was drawn to the President’s disdain for the military despite his vigorous denials. It is particularly significant to learn about the source of the Trump family’s movement to the US. Grandfather Freidrick Trumpf lost his German (Bavarian) citizenship by avoiding mandated military service. Since that time research indicates that only Freddy, Donald’s older brother, had any relationship with the military by serving in the ROTC while at Lehigh University and in the Air National Guard. We have often heard how Donald Trump was able to avoid service in Vietnam because of bone spurs on his heels. It is also interesting that the Trump family denied their German heritage during and after World War II, claiming to be of Swedish descent.

Then we heard the President suggesting, not once but twice, that voters commit a felony by voting twice.

And in his own voice we have heard the President admitting in a series of interviews with Bob Woodward, that he knew a great deal more about the Corona Virus early on in the stages of the pandemic and deliberately down played its dangers, thus increasing the serious medical consequences and increased risks of deaths.

In these same tape-recorded interviews, Trump acknowledged his racist leanings and mocked the idea of his benefiting from “white privilege.”

We have had over four years of outrageous dishonesty, immorality, avarice, disloyalty, paranoia, and ego-mania. Isn’t that enough?
