I want to encourage voters of State Senate District 12 to vote for Kevin Avard on September 8, 2020 and November 3, 2020. State Senate District 12 includes the residents of Hollis, Brookline, Greenville, Mason, New Ipswich, Rindge and Nashua Wards 1, 2 and 5.

I have known Kevin for some time as he previously served as the State Senator from this district and is working hard to return to Concord again. He made a name for himself as a guitar playing Senator when school children would visit the State House. In fact, that made such a big impression on my nephew when he visited the State House that he still talks about his visit to this day. Kevin’s campaign website is: http://www.senatoravard.com.

Recently, I heard Kevin speak of the importance of education choice. As a State Senator, Kevin will support public, charter, private and home school options for families during what will be a most unusual school year due to COVID-19. In addition to supporting school choice, Kevin recognizes the challenges educators have with over-regulation. Schools must focus on educating students through local control, not unnecessary state or federal mandates.

Knowing the importance of this election and the need for preserving school choice, I am encouraging the voters of Senate District 12 to vote for Kevin Avard.
