Vote for Jeanne Dietsch

By Richard Holstein - Bedford | Aug 22, 2020

Access to reliable, high-speed internet is vitally important. If we didn’t know this before, we surely do now that Covid-19 has made working from home and remote learning the new normal.

State Senator Jeanne Dietsch has long been a leader in improving telecommunications in New Hampshire. She has worked tirelessly to extend broadband to unserved areas for remote learning, telehealth and home professionals. She understands that crucial infrastructure these days includes communications and information technology, as well as roads, bridges, water, sewers and energy.

Early this year Senator Dietsch co-sponsored a bipartisan bill that requires insurers to cover health care services provided through telemedicine on the same basis as the insurer provides coverage and reimbursement for health care services provided in person. Working with her Senate colleagues, Jeanne made sure that this requirement became part of the Omnibus Telehealth and Substance Abuse Bill that was signed into law in July.

Dietsch recognizes that towns require up-to-date communications infrastructure and service to retain and attract residents and businesses, and to educate our children. That is why earlier this year she submitted the bipartisan Communications Districts Bill to enable small towns to band together for broadband and communication infrastructure.

Jeanne Dietsch is a tech savvy entrepreneur who understands what is needed to move our economy forward. She has worked hard to help workers and families in all 14 towns in her district weather the current health/economic crisis. Please join me in voting to re-elect Jeanne Dietsch to the N.H. Senate.
