Vote for Feltes

By Marilyn Brock - Bedford | Aug 22, 2020

Our current governor has set a record with over 80 vetoes this year! He has vetoed the minimum wage, paid family leave, progress on clean energy jobs, addiction and mental health treatment, campaign finance reform, and job training and apprenticeship opportunities.

Dan Feltes has served in the New Hampshire Senate since 2014 and currently serves as Senate Majority Leader. Dan served as a lead Democratic negotiator for the reauthorization of Medicaid Expansion critical to continuing to combat the opioid epidemic; sponsored legislation to combat skyrocketing prescription drug costs by allowing the importation of safe, low-cost prescription drugs from Canada; and helped establish some of the toughest drinking water standards in the country to protect our families from dangerous PFAS chemicals. Dan has led the charge for quality, affordable health care; paid family and medical leave insurance; clean energy as well as clean energy jobs; a living minimum wage; and common sense gun safety. He supports lowering the tuition at our in-state public universities, targeted student debt relief, and investment in apprenticeship and certificate programs.

Dan continues to fight for working families. He is a moderate senator who gets things done. Over 100 of Dan’s bills have become law. I believe he has the best chance to defeat our current governor and promote legislation that will improve the quality of life for people in New Hampshire. Please vote for Dan on Sept. 8 and on Nov. 3.
