The younger generation has been leading the fight against climate change. With major activists like Greta Thunberg paving the way for the world’s younger voice to be heard. But the fight to stop climate change will not be stopped by one generation alone.

We need everyone to make a stand against this growing threat. We are asking for the older generations to stand with us. With the knowledge, experience, and education we can all benefit from coming together. We need this to become a worldwide issue and move away from the politics of climate change.

The easiest way to join the fight is to take part in the “Fridays for Future” campaign. Started by Thunberg, in Sweden, she would protest climate change everyday Friday by skipping school. Since the rise of COVID-19, this campaign has taken a virtual approach by having students protest at home and posting on social media. If older generations are willing to do this, we can start to create the bridge to join our forces together and end climate change for good.
