Gabbard can repair America

By Bonnie Vining - Retired U.S. citizen living in Costa Rica | Feb 2, 2020

On Jan. 14, Tulsi Gabbard hosted a roundtable discussion in Concord with award-winning foreign correspondent, Stephen Kinzer, and former presidential candidate, Dennis Kucinich. Kinzer stated:

“All those programs that many of the progressive candidates want, realistically speaking, are never gonna get through Congress … BUT in foreign policy, a president can REALLY make a change and can REALLY reorient this country. … Foreign policy IS the place where a president can make a dramatic difference in a way that no president will ever be able to do in the next four years in domestic policy.”

Tulsi is the one presidential candidate who emphasizes foreign policy. Through diplomacy, she will end unnecessary wars and reallocate resources towards healthcare, education, and infrastructure for our country.

Major/Congresswoman Gabbard has served in the Army National Guard for almost 17 years, including two active duty tours in the Middle East. She is currently serving her fourth consecutive term in Congress where she has worked on the Foreign Affairs and Homeland Security Committees and currently serves on the Financial Services and Armed Services Committees and the House Intelligence Emerging Threats and Capabilities Subcommittee. She holds the highest level security clearance,Top Secret with Special Access, so all interactions with foreign actors are constantly and thoroughly investigated.

As president, Gabbard will meet with foreign leaders in the pursuit of peace, repair our broken international relationships and renew respect for the United States on the world stage.
