Kuster’s allegiance should be with voters

By Staff | Oct 14, 2014

In a recent radio interview, Rep. Annie Kuster said, “I’m, I would say, probably one of the strongest supporters of the president in the entire United States Congress.”

Hey, Annie, why are you the strongest supporter of anyone, or anything, other than the residents of New Hampshire? You were elected to represent our interests, not President Barack Obama. You are supposed to care what we think, not what President Obama believes. Your job is to answer to us, not President Obama.

If she would like to be the “strongest supporter” of President Obama, she is more than welcome to leave Congress and submit a resume to work on the president’s staff. However, as our member of Congress, her duty is to support those of us who live on the western side of the Granite State, not the resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington.
