Slow and steady

By Staff | May 9, 2020

On Monday, golf courses in New Hampshire will again welcome patrons for some fresh air and springtime fun.

Soon, other businesses will be given the green light to open, too.

What we all must remember, though, is just because we will have a little more freedom to be out and about, the danger hasn’t disappeared.

Not being alarmists, but the fact remains, vigilance is key in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

We all must continue to take precautions – wearing protective masks and gloves in public – and not partaking in unnecessary travel and stops.

This is especially true for those in high-risk categories – senior citizens and those with pre-existing medical conditions.

We certainly want life to get back to normal – whatever that may be – but we do not want to do so until the danger of infection is extremely low.

With nice weather upon us – save for Saturday – the knee-jerk reaction is to head out to catch up on errands and return to the old way of life. Instead, we encourage everyone to stay the course and take a slow, steady approach.
