Remember to vote today

Today, Election Day, Nashua residents will have the opportunity to shape the future of the city. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Citizens must remember to exercise their right to vote. This is the time for you to have your say on how our city government is run.

Following is a list of candidates:

Candidates for the Nashua District Board of Education are: Jessica E. Brown, Sharon M. Giglio, Renata Olszewski, Sandra Ziehm, Jennifer Bishop, Jamila Scales, Anthony R. Sanichara, Doris Hohensee, Burton H. Janz, Paula Johnson, Howard D. Coffman and Greg Surbey.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 1 seat are: Jan Schmidt and Mark S. Cookson.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 2 seat are: Richard A. Dowd and Kevin A. Avard.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 3 seat are: Patricia Klee.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 4 seat are: Thomas Lopez and Arthur T. Craffey Jr.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 5 seat are: Ernest A. Jette.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 6 seat are: Ken Gidge, Elizabeth Lu, Joseph J. MacIntyre and Kevin Scully.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 7 seat are: June M. Caron and Drew Sullivan.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 8 seat are: Dave MacLaughlin and Skip Cleaver.

Candidates for the Nashua Ward 9 seat are: Bill Ohm and Linda Harriott-Gathright.

Candidates for the Nashua alderman-at-large seat are: Lori Wilshire, Benjamin M. Clemons, Melbourne Moran Jr. and Michael B. O’Brien Sr.

Candidates for the fire commission are: Kevin Burgess, Paul A. Garant, Manuel Pimental, Thomas Stawasz and Donald C. Davidson.

Candidates for the public works seat are: Joel Ackerman, Kevin S. Moriarty and Shannon I. Schoneman.
