Consider attending forum
With control of Congress in the balance, Democrats and Republicans across the nation are making their final campaign push before the Nov. 6 general election.
Immigration and border enforcement, gun control, tariffs on foreign goods and health care are just a few of the issues on which members of the two parties seem to vehemently disagree.
Therefore, hearing the candidates answer questions regarding important matters in person can be quite helpful in making a decision on whom to support.
We, therefore, ask you to consider attending the final edition of the Gateway to the Election: 2018 Candidate Series, which is a partnership of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Rivier University and The Telegraph.
The forum will feature candidates seeking to represent New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District for the next two years. U.S. Rep. Annie Kuster, D-N.H., will exchange ideas with Republican challenger, Nashua resident Steve Negron.
Monday, the two met to discuss matters during a Rotary Club of Nashua meeting.
The 2nd Congressional District includes about two-thirds of the state’s land mass, while it includes the cities of Nashua and Concord.
The Thursday forum featuring Kuster and Negron runs from 4:30-6 p.m., with registration beginning at 4 p.m. It will take place at the Holiday Inn, 9 Northeastern Boulevard, Nashua.
Admission is $10 per person, with light refreshments included.
