Arthur E. Gelinas

Arthur E. Gelinas, 80, of Manchester, passed away at Greenbrier Terrace in Nashua on August 21, 2015.

He was born in Manchester on November 19, 1934, the son of Frank and Zelda (Goulet) Gelinas. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He had worked in the shipping department at Sanders for many years. He had also worked at Fishways and the Mall of NH. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing horseshoes and bowling, winning trophies for both.

Family members include his wife of 53 years, Frances (Hudzik) Gelinas; two daughters Ann (Penny) Verville of Greenville, and Terri Sullivan of Atlanta, GA; a son Gene Gelinas of Milford three grandchildren, Tina Verville, Linda Verville, Lindsey Sullivan; two brothers, Norman Gelinas and his wife Shirley of Northwood and Gerry Gelinas and his wife Debby of Dunbarton; and nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Danny Gelinas.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., in Manchester on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in St. Augustin Church. Committal services will take place in St. Hedwig Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
