Mary Ann Gagnon

Mary Ann Gagnon, 70, of Hudson, wife of G. Ronald Gagnon, died Monday afternoon, May 20, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, after a long illness.

A resident of the Hudson – Nashua area for many years, Mrs. Gagnon was born in Malden, Massachusetts on January 12, 1943, a daughter of the late Ralph and Marie (Caferelli) Crowe. She was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School Class of 1961.

Mary Ann had been employed in retail sales, beginning with the former Miller’s on Main Street in Nashua as a sales associate. After Miller’s closed she completed her career at Filene’s department store at the Pheasant Lane Mall.

In her leisure time, Mary Ann loved spending time at the seashore, especially Cape Cod. She also enjoyed watching movies including “Gone With the Wind”.

Members of her family include her husband Ron, with whom she shared 32 years together; five children, Elise Brassil and her husband Tom of Andover, MA, Darlene Tevnan and her husband Tom of South Boston, MA, Kathleen Burke and her fiancé Roy Jack of Litchfield, Daniel Fahy of Santa Fe, NM and Matthew Gagnon of Hudson; three stepchildren, Tony Gagnon of Nashua, Patrick Gagnon of South Carolina and Peter Gagnon of Nashua; and seven grandchildren, Gillian and Thomas Brassil, Tracy Daniel, Emma and Chelsea Burke, Alexis and Kellan Gagnon.

SERVICES: Mary Ann’s family will receive friends at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Saturday afternoon May 25th from 2 to 4 p.m. A Prayer Service will follow at 4 o’clock. The Rev. Deacon John J. Martin will officiate. Friends wishing to express their sympathy, may make donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter, P.O.
