Denise Levesque Maistrosky

Nov 3, 2026

April 4, 1948 – October 26, 2026

Denise Levesque Maistrosky died too soon at 78 years young. All who know and love Denise agree that she was a special person; she was kind, warm and delightfully over-the-top. She had a soft spot for a hard bargain – and life was simply more fun when Denise was around.

Denise had a generous heart and found great joy in helping others. She did not believe in waiting for a request for help – she was so often right there, already doing the thing you didn’t know was needed until she had done it. Denise would be best honored by checking in on a neighbor, opening your kitchen for meals, or chatting about anything with someone in need of company.

Denise was a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, where she built a beautiful life with her husband, Alan. Nearly 60 years ago during their freshman year of college, Alan and Denise met over a shared slice of pizza and went on to share countless adventures, traveling the world and raising their family in Nashua. Denise’s greatest love was her two grandsons – to whom she was truly a fun Grammy. She baked, she read, she listened and she even wrestled. Denise provided a sense of comfort and silliness that will stay with her grandsons forever.

Denise cherished so many meaningful friendships across continents and cultures during her exciting 41-year career as a flight attendant, and she found value in every corner of the globe she visited. Denise always said the best part of travel, though, was coming home to her cozy house, in her beautiful neighborhood, just a short dog-walk from her closest girlfriends.

Denise will continue to be loved most by her husband, Alan, her son Jeff and his wife Ann Brittelli Maistrosky, her daughter Laura and her husband Dan Mattock, and by her curious, sweet grandsons, Tate Mattock and Ivan Maistrosky. Denise will be so very missed by her seven younger siblings and their families, for whom Denise hopes will continue to fondly retell the crazy stories of their childhood. Denise’s closest friends will hold near the warm and wacky memories of their shared experiences.

A private funeral service will be held for Denise. All who knew and loved Denise are invited to celebrate her life at an open house on November 12, 2026, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Fody’s Tavern in Nashua. She always said they had the best French onion soup.
