Theresa Josephine Galbo

Theresa Josephine Galbo, 99, of Nashua, widow of John E. Galbo, passed away Friday morning, October 16, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 29, 1927, she was a daughter of the late James and Helena (Stone) Cummins. Theresa resided in Roslindale, MA during her youth where she attended local schools and graduated from high school.

A resident of Nashua for the past 41 years, Theresa was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her leisure time she enjoyed the challenge of completing puzzles.

Theresa and her husband John were married in July of 1953 and shared over 56 years together until his passing on April 21, 2010.

Members of her family include five sons, Gary, Rick, James, Chris and Jeff Galbo; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Theresa was predeceased by her brothers, Jim and George; and her sister, Helen.
