Louise J. Boucher

Oct 12, 2026

Louise J. Boucher, 90, of Nashua, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, October 9, 2026, surrounded by the love and care of her family.

She was born May 15, 1936 in Manchester to George and Alexandria Perry. Louise grew up in Manchester and graduated from Central High School in 1955.

She later made Nashua her home for many years, where she built a life centered around those she loved the most.

Louise was an independent woman with a strong spirit who worked for as long as she was able. She was proud, determined and not one to shy away from doing things her own way. She was also one of the most patriotic women and loved anything red, white and blue.

She found joy in the simple things, she loved to cook, read and spend time with her beloved dog Lucy. She worked the candy counter at Shirley’s Flowers and Sweets for many years where customers and co-workers knew her as “Gram” and famously “Santa Boucher” as Christmas was her favorite holiday. Above all else family came first, she was always the person you could count on to show up and support the people she loved the most. She gave her love freely and was always there for anyone who needed her.

Louise will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Roger J. Boucher. Together they built a life filled with love, family and memories to last a lifetime for 59 wonderful years.

She is survived by her husband Roger; her children, James Currier of Vermont, Frederick and Brenda Sprague of Vermont, Shirley and Norman Wrenn Jr. of Bedford, NH, Patricia Lacombe of North Andover, MA, and Joseph and Jessie Boucher of Nashua, NH along with 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her son Steven Boucher; daughters Nancy Vasquez and Debra Ballew; and grandson Norman Wrenn III. She is now reunited with her loved ones.

Louise leaves behind a lifetime of memories, a family who loves her dearly and a legacy of strength, independence, unconditional love and always putting family first. She will be remembered for not only for the life she lived but the love she gave so freely.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at a later date.

Burial will be private at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society or Juvenile Diabetes Association in her honor.

The Farwell Funeral Service, 18 Lock Street, Nashua is assisting the family with arrangements. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.farwellfuneralservice.com.
