Timothy “Tim” James Carignan

Timothy “Tim” James Carignan, 68, passed away on August 25, 2026, at Community Hospice House surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Franklin, NH, on August 17, 1958, to Jean (Courtemanche) Carignan and Maurice “Rock” Carignan.

He graduated from Franklin High School in 1976 and from New Hampshire College with a degree in Management Advisory Services, Magna Cum Laude, in 1980.

His long career spanned over 45 years, many spent at Charles River Development. His dearest job was as a father and a grandfather to his four children and three grandchildren.

Tim passed away following a battle with Multiple Myeloma and Plasma Cell Leukemia. While the disease somewhat defined his death, it in no way defined his life. That was defined by the group of family and friends that enriched his every day.

He leaves behind his loving wife Carol (Livermore) of 42 years; son Peter Carignan, daughter-in-law Larissa, and granddaughter Evelyn Rose; son Evan Carignan and daughter-in-law Katie Carolan; daughter Megan Daley, son-in-law James, and granddaughters Catherine Jean and Charlotte James; daughter Aimee West and son-in-law Thomas; mother Jean Carignan, 99 years young; sister Judy Carignan; brother Michael Carignan; and lifelong friend Peter Hodges. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Maurice “Rock” Carignan and his sister Cindi Catino.

His wonderful neighbors and friends made living in Nashua the best place possible. He had so many great times in the 42 years he called Nashua home. It really did take a village. He loved spending time with his family and riding his BMW motorcycle.

The entire team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Cancer Center helped beyond measure to navigate the last journey. They all treated Tim with love, respect, and care. Dr. Christi Hayes is a miracle worker; it’s impossible to express enough gratitude for her empathy and work.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, on Sunday, August 30th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis Street, Nashua, on Monday, August 31st at 10 a.m. Friends and family are invited to attend.
