Sandra Diane Hogan
September 1, 1950 – August 20, 2026
Sandra D. Hogan, age 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Sandra was born and raised in Manchester, NH. She was predeceased by her parents Leandre Dupuis Sr. and Sylviane Dupuis. She attended St. Anthony Elementary and High School in Manchester.
After high school, Sandra attended and graduated from Rivier University with a BA in Sociology. After college, she worked with the US Department of Justice Organized Crime Division for three years, both in Washington D.C. and Boston, Massachusetts. She then worked as a houseparent at Stetson Home for Boys in Barre, MA before moving west to join her fiancée and future husband Donald Hogan. Donald’s Air Force career took them to Houston, Texas, and Panama City, Florida where she earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Once out of the military, Donald and Sandra moved to West Babylon, NY, and then back to NH where they lived briefly in Manchester before settling in Nashua in 1982. In Nashua, they raised their three sons. As the years passed, Sandra worked as a pediatric social worker, childcare social worker, early intervention manager, NH licensed mental health counselor, and early childhood consultant. She also spent 13 years as a Boy Scout leader.
Sandra leaves behind her husband of 49 years Donald P. Hogan and their three sons Kevin Hogan Soleil (Emily Soleil); Matthew Hogan (Jennifer Rowland); and Christopher Hogan. She also leaves behind grandchildren Canyon and River Soleil as well as her brother Leandre Dupuis Jr. and his wife Joanne Dupuis. Family on Donald’s side include Judith Hogan, James and Marilyn Hogan, Dee Hogan, and Mary Hensel as well as many nieces and nephews. Sandra leaves specially treasured friends Jennie Greenlaw (Ray), Louisa Owusu Boadi, Deloris Jay, Francene Pelletier (Tom), Jane Vukelich (Dan), Christine Gagnon and Fr. Dixon Choolakkal Rajan as well as many friends in her community and church.
Sandra will be remembered for her love of family and friends as well as her devotion to the field of childhood mental health in which she worked for over 30 years. When their children were grown and living throughout the country, Sandra and Donald were able to visit many US National Parks as well as Iceland. Sandra visited France, Italy, and Israel with friends.
Sandra wishes to thank everyone who provided support over the past year with food, transportation to doctors, errands, and especially your prayers and support. “I am now at rest secure in my Father’s arms and eternal home.”
Calling hours will take place on Thursday, October 1 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua on Friday, October 2 at 11:00am. Burial will follow.
