Terry L Rowe

Terry L Rowe of Merrimack, NH passed away August 21, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Bangor, Maine June 19, 1947. He was the son of Herbert and Francis (Haskell) Rowe. After graduating from high school, Terry joined the US Navy and served 22 years as a Cryptologic Technician. He has numerous overseas and stateside tours, as well as spending considerable amounts of time deployed on fast-attack submarines performing special operations. He was married for 32 years to Barbara (Bridges) of Orono, Maine and they had 2 children Michael Rowe of Merrimack NH and Wendy Rowe of North Hampton NH and 2 granddaughters Hanna and Abigail Overholt. After his Navy retirement, Terry worked for Lockheed Martin (BAE Systems) as a signal analyst. This is where he met his second wife Barbara Vedrani. In retirement, they volunteered for various organizations supporting the community. Terry and Barabra also traveled extensively visiting more than 75 countries. Terry was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 48 in Hudson, NH and also serviced as a member and vice president of the Naval Cryptological Veterans Association- New England. In Terry’s own words, “Don’t mourn for me as I had a wonderful life and I hope all of you have at least a portion of the adventures I was able to experience”.
