Bertha L. (Moses) Scyoc
Bertha Louise (Moses) Scyoc, 83, of Nashua, widow of Arthur E. Scyoc, passed away Monday morning, August 17, 2026 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, after a long period of declining health.
A resident of Nashua for the greater part of her life, Bertha was born in Norwood, Massachusetts on May 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Ruth L. (Pohlman) Lambert Peters and stepdaughter of the late Armand G. Lambert.
Educated in local schools, Bertha had been employed as a bartender at The Tavern Hotel for a time and then worked at Nashua Corporation. She later worked for Saint Gobain on Powers Street in Milford, NH until her retirement in 2008.
Bertha loved spending time with her grandson and friends.
Members of her family include her daughter and son-in-law, Lee Ann and Paul Jenner of Abington, MA; her grandson, Patrick Gene Jenner; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Armand G. Jr. and Cynthia Lambert, Clifford W. and Robin Lambert, and John E. Lambert; two sisters, Kathleen Ashe and Brenda C. Marquis; and brother-in-law, George A. Nichols; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bertha was predeceased by her husband Arthur, who passed away in 1968; her sister, Gail P. Nichols; and brothers-in-law, Gary Ashe and Leo O. Lambert, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Monday, August 24th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at Noon. Interment will take place in Edgewood Cemetery.
