Joanne Copp Plante

Joanne Copp Plante, (Jodi) 61, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on August 6, 2026. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 18, 1964, to Patricia Davis Ekman and the late David Bruce Copp.

Jodi had a gentle heart, a warm smile, and a way of making people feel cared for. Spending time with family and friends she found joy in life’s little moments. She believed the best memories weren’t made from extravagant things, but from time spent enjoying the simple things.

For many years, Jodi dedicated herself to caring for others as a pharmacy technician. She worked for many years at Rite Aid in Nashua, NH. She took pride in helping people and approached everyone she met with compassion, patience, and understanding. Her customers meant everything to her.

Jodi loved being by water, where she felt most at peace. She looked forward to spending time in Florida, relaxing in the sunshine, working on puzzles, and laughing with those she loved. Family was always at the center of her life. Nothing brought her more happiness than watching her children grow into adults and seeing her grandchildren fill every room with laughter. She treasured every holiday, every visit, every phone call, and every hug.

She leaves behind her longtime partner, Ed Gagnon; her children, Kevin Plante and his wife Jessica, Lindsay Plante and Rob Sowers, and Nicholas Plante and Julia Crocker; her stepsons, Corey Gagnon and Christy Brown, Shane Gagnon and his wife Becca; her beloved grandchildren, Carson Hoover, Kaydence Plante, Trenton Plante, Lilah Hoover, and Trevor Plante; her mother, Patricia Ekman and her husband Dennis; her sister, Kim Dahl and her husband Eric; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Jodi’s family will forever remember her for the love she gave so freely and the countless memories she leaves behind. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

A Celebration of Jodi’s Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jodi’s memory may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance or the American Diabetes Association, causes that were meaningful to her.
