Cynthia (Cyr) Garrett

Cynthia (Cyr) Garrett, 80, of Nashua, passed away at Bedford Hills Center on July 31, 2026, with her family by her side.

She was born in Keene on April 9, 1946, the daughter of the late William and Olga (Bernard) Cyr. She had worked in the telecommunications industry for most of her career, most recently with NH VOIP. She was a great golfer and won tournaments and trophies. She loved God and was a long-time parishioner of St. Louis de Gonzague Church in Nashua. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and cats. Cynthia was very philanthropic and donated to many local animal shelters.

Family members include her loving daughter, Nicole Garrett of Manchester; her long-time companion and best friend, James “Jimmy” Largy of Nashua; two brothers, Bernard Cyr of FL and Roderick Cyr of Concord; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua on Monday, August 10th from 5 PM to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on in St. Louis de Gonzague Church on Tuesday, August 11th at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or rescue in memory of Cynthia.
