Jason A. Bailey

Jason A. Bailey, age 84, a resident of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris R. (Goulet) Bailey.

A longtime resident of Nashua, New Hampshire, Jason spent his early years in Dunstable, Massachusetts, where his family had lived for generations. During his high school years, he and his family moved to Nashua, where he completed his education and graduated from Nashua High School.

Committed to serving his country, Jason joined the Army National Guard in 1964. In 1968, he was drafted and proudly answered the call to serve in Vietnam. Following his military service, he devoted more than 30 years to EnergyNorth in Nashua, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

An avid outdoorsman, Jason believed life’s best days were spent working with his hands, building, repairing, and creating. He found his greatest peace on the water with a fishing rod in hand or in the quiet solitude of the woods during hunting season. He took pride in hard work, appreciated the simple pleasures of nature, and found joy in a job well done.

Above all, Jason was the heart of his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud and doting grandfather. A dependable friend, his quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and steady presence anchored everyone around him. He was a familiar face at every one of his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events over the years, always arriving with his folding chair, words of encouragement, and an unwavering belief in their abilities and potential. His love was constant and his greatest happiness came from being there for the people he loved.

He is survived by his sons, Brian J. Bailey and his wife Melissa D. (Smith) Bailey, and their children, Joshua, Caleb, and Nathan Bailey; and Marc A. Bailey and his daughters, Hayley Bieler and Kira Bailey, and his grandchildren, Markis, Scarlett, and Luca. Jason is also survived by his sister, Sheryl Demers of Florida and his nephew Scott Dion of California.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Jason and his wife Doris on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Dunstable, MA.
