Amy Salois
Jun 6, 1979 — Jul 23, 2026
Windham, NH
Amy Marie Salois, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep on July 23, 2026 at the age of 47 years.
Amy grew up in Hudson NH and moved to Nashua, NH where she worked as a home health aide, a role that perfectly reflected the warmth and compassion she carried throughout her life. She especially enjoyed caring for elderly people, spending time sitting and talking with them, listening to their stories, and helping bring them wherever they needed to go. Amy had a natural gift for making people feel cared for, valued, and less alone.
She was a warm and generous person who could always be counted on to help someone in need. Her kindness was not something she simply spoke about. It was something she lived every day through the way she cared for her family, her friends, and the people she helped through her work.
Amy cherished time spent with her family. Among the memories held especially close are childhood trips to the beach with her grandparents. Her grandfather Jackie would jokingly tell Amy, her sisters, and their cousins to “get off the rocks,” always making them laugh. It is a memory filled with sunshine, family, and the happiness of being together, and one that will continue to bring smiles even through the sadness of her loss.
Amy will be remembered for her generous heart, her caring nature, and the love she gave so freely to the people around her. Her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Amy is survived by her parents Susan and Marc Salois, son Joshua Salois, loving partner Julio Reyes Gonzales, her twin sister Stacey Salois, elder sister Jennifer Salois Schommer and their families. Amy will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Route 111, Windham, NH 03087 on Thursday, July 30 from 10 am – Noon. At noon, Fr. David Kneeland from St. Matthews Church will provide a short service and blessing. In lieu of flowers, please send any charitable donations to the Humane Society of Greater Nashua.
