Jacquelyn Ann James (Jackie)

Jun 29, 2026

After 92 remarkable years, Jacquelyn Ann James (Jackie), of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, at her home in Nashua, surrounded by family.

Born in Augusta, Maine, on February 21, 1934, Jackie was the eldest daughter of Adelard and Madeline St. Pierre.

Jackie met her husband, Frank, at a dancehall near Brunswick Naval Air Base, where Frank was stationed. That night was the beginning of a beautiful, loving marriage adventure that would last over 60 years. Jackie and Frank were “all-in” partners in parenting, business, and helping others.

Jackie lived in Nashua for 60 years. She was an active member of the community. She served on the board of the YWCA and the Junior Women’s Club. She also taught CCD classes at St. Christopher Parish. Jackie challenged herself when she worked for the State of New Hampshire as a volunteer for rape and assault victims.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her husband, Frank, and many family and friends. She loved her time at Popponesset Beach, Cape Cod, where she was a devoted matriarch to a host of children and grandchildren. Her compassionate heart and generous spirit made time with family and friends memorable.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank A. James. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald St. Pierre.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Julie Dwyer, and son-in-law, Dan Dwyer; son, F. Andrew James, and daughter-in-law, Mary Kay James; son, Jeff James, and daughter-in-law, Alyson James.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kristina McLaughlin, William Dwyer, Carly James, Hannah James, Dylan James, Keith James, and Elijah Knight. She was also cherished as GG to Evelyn, Cailin, Daisy, Ivy, and Frank.

She is additionally survived by her sisters, Sharon Clary and Vicky Moody.

Jackie’s family is grateful to the team who cared for Jackie and kept her safe in her home for the last few years. They include Allen, Nancy, Shelly, Christine, Charlotte, and Vicki, who was Jackie’s right hand for over 10 years.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. A Celebration of Life luncheon will immediately follow the Mass at Sky Meadow Country Club.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Jackie’s memory to one of her favorite charities which include:
