Sara (Sinexon) Gual

Sara (Sinexon) Gual, of Nashua, NH passed away on June 13, 2026.

She was born on August 28, 1942, in Pottstown, PA, the daughter of Justus and Sara Ethel Sinexon. Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Raul (Ray) Gual; her parents; and her two sisters, Olga Brigham and Frona Avery.

Sara is survived by her children: daughter and son-in-law Marcia and Anthony Contarino, Keene, NH; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Wendy Gual, Hollis, NH; daughter Kari Gual, Scarborough, England; son Geoffrey Gual, Nashua, NH; and daughter and son-in-law Gillian and Jamie Hinkle, Hollis, NH, and her grandchildren Nicole Reynolds, Dylan Reynolds, Cameron Contarino, Liana Gual, Jonathan Gual, Elisa Gual, Jackson Hinkle, and Darcy Hinkle, and her great-grandchildren Gianna, Mason, Eliana, James, Scarlett, and Nathan. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition, Sara will be missed by her many friends from the “Elderberries” and “The Glue Girls” who meant so much to her.

Sara began her career as a secretary but fell in love with the world of antiques and travel. She dealt in antiques starting from the early 1980s until the end of her life. Sara and Ray also owned a travel agency in the 1990s, which allowed them to share their love of seeing new places with others. Sara believed strongly in fighting for justice, educational access for all, and ending food insecurity. Some of the many places she volunteered included End 68 Hours of Hunger, UU Church of Nashua – Community Dinner, United Way, Nashua Community Music School, ActorSingers, Anne-Marie House, Southern NH Health, UU Church of Nashua & Grow Nashua: Lil’ Free Farmstand, and the NH Democratic Party.

Sara’s family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors for their support and concern. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 1:00pm.
