Kurt Viljanen

Kurt Viljanen, 37, from Merrimack, NH passed away on May 15th at Cedar-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles California where he was encircled with love from his family and friends.

Born on August 1st, 1988 in Nashua, New Hampshire, Kurt was the child of Anne and Erik Viljanen. Kurt graduated from Merrimack High School in 2007 and went on to earn a degree in microbiology at Keene State college. Kurt pursued a career as a quality control specialist at Charm Sciences until relocating to Los Angeles as a productions team lead at Polypeptide.

Beyond his professional life, Kurt was known for his originality, honesty and advocation for others. He especially loved cooking, reading, gaming and will be remembered for their leadership style, sense of humor and dedication to others.

Kurt is survived by his siblings Larson Viljanen and Alek Viljanen,his Mother Anne Viljanen

stepfather Rick Hammond and the many, many good friends he made along the way.
