Brian Vernon Hardy

Brian Vernon Hardy, 65, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born in Nashua, he was a proud member of the Nashua High School Class of 1979. Brian was a gifted athlete and remained an avid sports fan throughout his life.

Known for his adventurous spirit, Brian never met a stranger; he was generous to a fault and truly loved being the comedian at every occasion, bringing laughter to everyone he met.

Brian’s legacy lives on through his devoted family and his long-time companion: Joanne Pridham of Nashua. He is survived by his son, Braydon S. Hardy, of Kansas City, Kansas of whom Brian was immensely proud and who was deeply loved by his father; Stepchildren: Allen and his wife, Marie (née Klaumenzer) Newborn; April (née Newborn) and her husband, Clint Moss; their children Ari and Ezra Moss; Ashley Williams, and Brooke Williams; Brian is also survived by his sister, Dawn K. Hardy of Marietta, Georgia; and her children Brooks H. Rowlett of Atlanta. Blair A. Rowlett, her wife Carolina Hoell, and their son, Llyr Price, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Brandon A. Rowlett, his wife Megan (née White) Rowlett and their children, Rockford, Willamina, and Donovan Rowlett, of Atlanta, Georgia; and several cousins.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Hardy; his mother, Ann M. (née Wellman) Hardy; his cousins, Gloria Hardy Jaccobucci and Linda Hardy Buchanan; as well as his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street in Nashua, NH, Monday, June 22nd at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend. Donations may be made in Brian’s memory to the Nashua Firefighters Relief Association, 177 Lake Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
