David Arthur Gilbert

David Arthur Gilbert, 59, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on May 31, 2026.

Born in Nashua on July 24, 1966, David was the son of Arthur M. Gilbert and Theresa H. (York) Gilbert. He attended Nashua High School and remained a lifelong resident.

David dedicated more than twenty years of his career to Accumet Engineering (Laser Services). He often spoke of his coworkers as his second family and valued the friendships and connections he made throughout his years there.

David found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved camping, cheering on his favorite football teams, and spending time with family and friends. He loved fishing and every now and then reeled in a big one. Known affectionately as the family’s “Rib Master,” David took great pride in cooking and was happiest when gathered around a grill surrounded by those he loved. He continually won the unofficial title of “Favorite Uncle” year after year.

David was predeceased by his father, Arthur M. Gilbert, his sister, Debbie Gilbert, and his former wife, Juliet Daniels Gilbert.

He is survived by his beloved son, Ryan Gilbert; his mother, Theresa Gilbert; his brothers, Ronald Gilbert, James Castillo Gilbert, Stephan Gilbert, and Timothy Gilbert; his nieces and nephews, Jason Cadorette, Patrick Cadorette, Travis Gilbert, Sarah White, Kayliegh Cordes, Tyler Gilbert, Jacob Gilbert, Justin Gilbert, Joshua Gilbert, Danielle Gilbert, Amanda Castillo Gilbert, James Castillo Gilbert, and Augustine Castillo Gilbert; and his cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Bronson Gilbert, Landon Gilbert, Dane Cordes, Evan Cordes, Lorelei Gilbert, Callie Cadorette, Dahlia Cadorette, Anderson Cordes, Tanner Cadorette, Molly White, Colton Cadorette, Mable White, and Arthur Joshua Gilbert. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

SERVICES: Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, New Hampshire. A funeral service celebrating David’s life will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
