Janet M. Briand

Janet M. Briand, 95, of Gorham, NH and formerly of Nashua, passed away at her home early Monday morning, May 11, 2026 after a brief illness. Janet was the widow of Joseph C. Boyer and Robert A. Briand.

Born in Nashua on July 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Diana (Tessier) Gagnon. Educated in local schools, Janet was a homemaker to her children and also worked for a time in the shoe industry.

In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph in October 1982; and her second husband, Robert in December 2017. She was also predeceased by her infant daughter, Paula Boyer; her son, Kenneth R. Boyer; and her six siblings, Roger Gagnon and his wife Cecile, Lorraine Rock, Pauline Whittemore, Emma Stevens, Diane Morin and Germaine Barbour and her husband George.

Members of her family include seven children, John C. Boyer and his wife, Paulette, Joseph C. Boyer and his wife, Leeann, Marie Anne Heath, Catherine Witsoe, Carol McIntyre, Joedy LaBonville and Billie Lunderville and her husband, Fred; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Boyer (widow of Kenneth); eight stepchildren; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua,
