Beverly Jean Goodwin
Beverly Jean Goodwin, 82, of Nashua, NH, met her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after a brief illness. She was born in Cambridge, MA on May 25th, 1943, the daughter of the late A. Arlene (Arnold) Cooney and James Cooney.
She was the loving wife of Henry Goodwin. They were married at Grace Lutheran Church in Nashua, NH, on June 16, 2007.
Beverly was a graduate of Nashua High School and went on to receive her nursing education at Moore General Hospital School of Nursing in Goffstown, NH. She dedicated her life to caring for others, through her nursing career, her 25-year tenure at Nashua Eye Associates, and her deep commitment to her Christian faith.
She was a very active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Nashua, where she devoted her time to many ministries including MOPS, Grace Place, Vacation Bible School, and Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, helping children around the world.
Above all else, Beverly cherished her family and treasured time spent with her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Lyn Daniels; her second husband, Roger Wilfred Rondeau; her brother, Russell Lethbridge Jr.; and her son-in-law, James Spinella.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Goodwin; her daughters, Kathy (Daniels) Callander and her husband Scott, and Melissa (Rondeau) Spinella; her grandchildren, Jedidiah Callander and his wife Katelynn, and Makayla Callander. She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Jennifer (Goodwin) Post and her husband Brian, and Elizabeth Goodwin; her step-grandchildren, Madison and Braden Post; her brother, John Lethbridge and his wife Judy; her sister-in-law, Diane Lethbridge; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. She was also the best “Dog Grammy” to Coors, Yaz, Bailey, Gronk, Kahlua (Kallie), and Major, who will all miss her special homemade dog treats. Beverly will be remembered for her deep love for God and her family, and her compassionate spirit.
SERVICES: The family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Lutheran Church, Nashua, NH starting at 3pm on Saturday, May 9, 2026 and a Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM. Per Beverly’s wishes, the family asks that attendees refrain from wearing black to the service. A private burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, NH.
