Joyce Elizabeth (Johnston) Moreau

Joyce Elizabeth Moreau, 78, passed away on March 28, 2026. A devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend, Joyce’s life was defined by her dedication to her family and the love and kindness she showed to everyone that crossed her path.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on April 16, 1947, Joyce was the daughter of the late Donald H. and Beatrice H. Johnston. She was raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School in 1966 and attended Westbrook College in Maine. She worked as an office administrator for over 20 years beginning with Buxton-Doleac Realty and later for Re/Max Country Properties in Amherst, NH.
On May 2, 1970, Joyce married Paul S. Moreau. Together, they built a beautiful life and a growing family. In 1973, they moved to Hollis, NH, where they resided for nearly four decades until 2011. Joyce took great pride in her home, working in the yard and caring for her many gardens.
Joyce shared a deep love for the ocean. Spending many cherished summers sailing along the coast of New England with her family and embarking on numerous adventures with friends through the waters of the Caribbean.
She is survived by her two children: Jeff Moreau and his wife, Megan, of Fort Collins, Colorado; and Robyn Moreau and her husband, Todd Dunphy, of Holderness, New Hampshire. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Tyler and Noah Moreau of Colorado, and Owen and Cameron Dunphy of New Hampshire. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Paul.
