Lucille Emond

Lucille Emond, 81, passed away on April 22, 2026, in North Charleston, South Carolina. Born on November 11, 1944, in Rochester, New Hampshire, Lucille was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Carrier) Emond Jr. She spent much of her life dedicated to education, working as a teacher in elementary education, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of her students. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by Anita Dauphin (Joe Dauphin), Bob Emond and Norman Emond. Lucille is survived by her sister, Rachel Tozier (Frank Tozier) of Summerville, South Carolina her brother Ray (Dotty) Emond of Spring Hill Florida, many nieces and nephews and cousins, Justin (Bren ) Tozier of Clayton, North Carolina, James (Mallory) Tozier of Hamilton, OH Friends and family are called to visit on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Grondin Funeral Home, 177 N. Main St, Rochester, NH. A mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Friday, May 8, at Holy Rosary Church. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester. Lucille volunteered for the Summerville MS Support Group. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to : The National MS Society.
