Earl R. Dufoe
In Loving Memory of Earl R. Dufoe
Earl R. Dufoe, 91, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on March 31, 1935 in Nashua, the fourth son of Henry and Irene Dufoe. Earl attended local schools and graduated from Nashua Senior High School in 1953. Shortly thereafter, he met and married Pauline Godin, his partner in life and his one true love.
Earl built a decades-long career in sales, warehousing, and distribution, serving as general manager for local companies including Aid-All Sales and New Hampshire Tobacco. Colleagues remember him as a dedicated professional who ran a tight ship.
Outside of work, Earl was a man of many passions–an excellent athlete, an avid golfer, and a devoted fan of Boston sports. He also simply loved going out to restaurants, along with good wine and fine cigars. A lifelong member of Club National, Earl found great joy there over the years through friendships, leagues, and countless good times. Family was at the foundation of everything he did. He was a devoted lifelong husband to Pauline, a loving father to Darleen, a proud grandfather to Amanda and Haley, a positive example for his brothers and a true friend to many. His wisdom, sharp humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Earl is survived by his wife, Pauline; their daughter, Darleen; his granddaughters, Amanda and Haley; his sister, Norma Porter; his brothers, David, William, and Jim Dufoe; and a long list of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Donald, and Jack Dufoe.
His legacy is one of love, integrity, friendship, and kindness–one that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at the Rochette Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH on Sunday, May 3rd from 2 until 3 PM followed by a gathering of friends and family at Club National, 127 Pine Street, Nashua beginning at 3:30 PM.
