Roger M. Damphousse

October 6, 1940 – April 20, 2026

Roger Michael Damphousse, 85, passed away on April 20, 2026. Born October 6, 1940, in Lawrence, MA, to Rene and Irene (Vaillancourt) Damphousse. Roger’s life was defined by his humble beginnings and the family he built with his wife, Mary Shannon, enjoying 63 years of marriage, five children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

As a boy and young man he was shaped by the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club, Central Catholic High School, and Merrimack College where he was a standout athlete and a two-time All-American basketball player. After Merrimack College he received a master’s degree from Northeastern University and built a career as an executive leading teams and manufacturing companies at Sanders Associates, Harris Corporation, Lockheed Martin, and Benchmark Electronics.

Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Flora (Shannon) Damphousse; his children: Michael Damphousse and wife Linda (Flanagan); Edward Damphousse and wife Lori (Eberly); Anne Feilteau and husband Rich; Kathy Manganaro and husband Mark; and Laura Telerski and husband Jason. He is further survived by his brother Robert and wife Thelma “Mel”, and was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Russell.

The Roger Damphousse Three Point Scholarship Fund will benefit students from the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club, Central Catholic High School, and Merrimack College. Calling hours will be held at FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Monday, May 11th from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, Tuesday, May 12th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow.
