Lorraine A. Clark
Lorraine A. Clark, 80, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Born on March 15, 1946, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Robert and Jeannine (Pelletier) Gagne. She was raised and educated in Nashua, graduating from Nashua High School.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Hilton “Gene” Clark, who predeceased her in 2005. Their marriage was marked by a deep friendship and companionship; they were truly best friends and shared many happy years together.
She built a long and dedicated career as an administrative assistant at Sanders Associates, later BAE Systems, where she worked for over 40 years before retiring. In addition to her full-time career, Lorraine was an accomplished real estate agent. She pursued real estate sales with Kopka Real Estate in New Hampshire and was actively involved in buying, renovating, and managing properties. She proudly began her own brokerage firm with her late husband Gene, called Clark & Clark Real Estate.
Lorraine found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening and maintaining her yard, traveling along the coast, and vacationing in her favorite New England destinations; Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family. She also took an interest in following local city politics and enjoyed staying informed and engaged. One of her most cherished pastimes was sharing lunch outings, spending hours on the phone, and reliving countless childhood memories with her cousin Donna.
Lorraine will be remembered for her independence, strong work ethic, and love of family. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication, resilience, and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two children Jill Gouveia and her husband David of Nashua, and Jody Adamonis and his wife Kristin of Nashua; her three grandchildren Joseph Gouveia and his wife Alison, Tyler Gouveia and his wife Elizabeth, and Benjamin Adamonis; her great granddaughter Sadie Gouveia; her siblings Robert Gagne and his wife Denise of Weare, NH and Richard Gagne of Deering, NH; her step daughters Judi, Lori, Wendy, and Debbie; and many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.
