Marie-Paule (Dion) Jamieson
Marie-Paule (Dion) Jamieson, 74, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.
Marie was born in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada on August 20, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Marie-Luce (Audet) Dion. She received her education in St. Louis de Gonzague elementary and high school and continued her education at Hesser College where she graduated with her associate’s degree in business science, accounting.
For numerous years, she was employed at Eastern Propane as their senior customer service representative and most recently she was employe by World Travel Holdings in their accounting department until her retirement.
Marie will be remembered as a woman of quiet grace, warmth, and deep devotion to those she loved. A true gentle and quiet soul, she brought comfort and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found happiness in the simple, meaningful things in life. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience and care. An avid reader, she spent many peaceful hours immersed in stories on Novelo, and she rarely missed her daily soap operas, which she followed with great enjoyment. In the kitchen, Marie’s talents truly shined. She was a gifted cook who expressed her love through food, always eager to prepare meals for family and friends. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, especially during holidays and Sunday breakfasts, which she cherished hosting. These gatherings became treasured traditions filled with laughter, comfort, and togetherness. Above all, Marie loved her family deeply. She valued every moment spent together and created lasting memories through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering presence. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the opportunity to know her.
She is survived by her siblings, Rev. Gerard J. Dion, Rita (Dion) Champagne and her husband Michael, Marc Dion and his wife Joann, and Serge Dion and his wife Debbie; her nieces and nephews, Aaron Champage, Korianna Champagne, Eric Dion, Jennifer Dion, Jonathan Dion, Bradley Dion, Sharon Dion, and Joseph Dion; as well as her great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marie’s visitation on FRIDAY, April 24th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. An additional hour of visitation will be held the following morning, SATURDAY, April 25th in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E.
