Sally Kimmerle

Apr 16, 2026

It is with profound sadness and loss that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grand mother, and great grandmother, Sally Kimmerle.

Sally was born in Summit Hill, PA, on January 26, 1927 to a family of eleven children. She passed on April 13, 2026 at the age of 99.

She was the Salutatorian of her high school class, and soon thereafter set out to find her way in New York City. It was there that she met the love of her life, Clifford Kimmerle, and they married on December 29, 1956. They went on to have four children and traveled the country, due to Clifford’s position as a Senior Manager with Western Electric.

Sally was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua. She was active with two social groups, meeting weekly, well into her mid nineties and will be missed by those members.

Sally was a brilliant, engaging conversationalist. Her eternal optimism brightened every room she entered and every person she encountered. She continued to amaze everyone she touched with her intelligence, wit and grace. She was the matriarch of a large loving family and was the centerpiece of every family gathering.

Sally leaves behind three children; Karen Black and her husband Michael Keefe of Bedford, NH, Susan Koop and her husband Bryan of Boston, MA, Thomas Kimmerle of Baltimore, MD, as well as a daughter in law; Kathi Kimmerle of Dallas TX who was the wife of Sally’s son Robert who predeceased her.

She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren; Jeffrey, Kristen, Lauren, Kendra, Lexy, Bryan, Austin, Taylor, Morgan, and Hunter, as well as 21 great grandchildren, all of whom love and adored their cherished Gigi.

Sally is now forever reunited with her heavenly Savior as well as her beloved husband, Clifford and dear son, Robert.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH for their extraordinary compassionate and tender care rendered to Sally during her passing.

A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Sally’s loving memory to Home Health & Hospice Care, attention the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH at www.hhhc.org To share an online message of condolence, please visit www.dumontsullivan.com The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of arrangements
