It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Phillippe (Phil) Andre Maheu, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Phillippe, affectionately known as Phil, passed away on March 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 66. Phil was born on June 15, 1959, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was the beloved son of the late Lionel and Therese “Dube” Maheu. Growing up in a family filled with love and camaraderie, he was preceded in death by his son, Lee A. Maheu, as well as by his brothers, Daniel and John Maheu. He is survived by his brother Antoine Maheu and his sister, Adele (Maheu) Christoff, along with her husband, Richard. Phil is also survived by his niece, Taylor Christoff, and his nephew, Joseph Maheu, as well as several aunts and uncles. A man of great honor, Phil proudly served his country as a Sea Bee in the U.S. Navy, where he forged friendships that lasted a lifetime and cultivated a resilience and work ethic that would define him throughout his life. Following his military service, Phil dedicated his life to the construction industry, where he was admired as a meticulous equipment operator and site foreman. His colleagues knew him as a master of machinery, capable of operating any piece of equipment with precision and skill. Phil’s life was enriched by his passions. A lover of dirt bikes and classic cars, he spent countless weekends tinkering in his garage, bringing vintage vehicles back to life. His love for classic rock and jazz music filled his home with timeless melodies, providing the soundtrack to many family gatherings and quiet evenings alike. Above all, Phil was a devoted father and Pepere. He leaves behind his two beloved daughters, Melissa (Maheu) Lambert and her husband Preston, and Carla (Maheu) Lambert and her husband Calvin. Phil cherished his role as a Pepere, finding immense joy in the laughter and energy of his nine grandchildren: Dakota, Peyton, Keira, Kylie, Caliea, Meredith, Callie, Carlee Lambert, and Christopher Crawley. His legacy of love and humor will undoubtedly live on through them. Phil was known for his quick wit and his love of football, often sharing spirited commentary during games that was as entertaining as the sport itself. His ability to bring laughter and light into the room was a gift cherished by all who knew him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Cancer Center and the ICU staff at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, for their unwavering support, compassion, and care during Phil’s final days. Their kindness brought comfort to Phil and his family during this difficult time. As we gather to

celebrate Phil’s life, we remember a man who lived with integrity, laughter, and love. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire us. A memorial service will be held to honor Phil’s life, details of which will be shared with family and friends in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Phil’s memory to a cancer research organization of your choice. Phillippe Andre Maheu, will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
