Sean David Giroux, 45, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Sean was born at Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on April 10, 1980 and is the son of George Giroux Jr. and Donna (Canzano) Giroux. He attended and graduated from Westford Academy in Westford, Massachusetts and continued his education at UMASS Dartmouth where he graduated with his bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems.

For 14 years, he worked as an IT specialist and Network Engineer for PUMA International.

Sean found joy in life’s simple pleasures and the hobbies he held close to his heart. In his free time, he immersed himself in music, often listening to his extensive vinyl record collection that had been lovingly passed down to him. He also enjoyed recreational shooting, golfing, fishing, and playing cornhole with family and friends. Sean appreciated quiet moments, like relaxing with an occasional cigar paired with a cold glass of milk; something he would sometimes share with his Dad. He loved being outdoors, whether it was riding his e-bike, boating or tending to his patio plants. Above all, Sean treasured time with his family, including many cousins that were always a quick drive away. He cherished conversations with his Dad, bonding with his brother whenever he could, and enjoying dinners with his mom and her partner, Brian. He also held a deep and enduring love for his beloved dog, Dolby “The Dude”, his “soul dog,” who sadly passed in March of last year. Sean enjoyed boating and spending time with his Lake friends or “Summer” friends, as he jokingly called them. The Meredith Woods Camp was a favorite weekend and holiday home away from home, where many good times and lasting memories were made. Relaxing around the fire with his brother or grilling with the neighbors was always a great way to end a busy day.

In addition to his mom, Donna Giroux of Groton, MA and his dad, George Giroux Jr. of Florida, he is survived by his brother, Christopher Giroux of Nashua; his girlfriend Monica; his lifelong best friends he loved as brothers, George Mitchell, Kevin Robitaille and Michael Vanderveer; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also “Uncle Sean” to his Goddaughter Abigail Robitaille and her brother Jake.

Sean was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Rose M. and Joseph E. Canzano and his paternal grandparents, George Sr. and Antoinette M. Giroux.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sean’s visitation on SATURDAY, April 11th from 1 until 3 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A brief prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 2:45 to conclude his visitation. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family.
